This post is trying to answer some of the questions about how do I get to write a book.
I was writing way before I knew I would write books.
I wrote to get clarity, to escape my emotions.
Most of the time I can't remember if I enjoyed it or not but I wrote, anyway.
I will not give you answers; I don't have them but I know a few things that can help your writing journey.
Put away all the smart motivations you have read and focus on how you feel. I think that is the first step.
Often when you shut down the noise in your head about what so and so said, is when you find your own voice to write with.
Remember, writing does not always have to end up with a book. If it is a book, it's not a must for it to be the best seller. It will be great to be a best-seller but you won't be the best seller if you are not writing and that is the whole point "Write". I don't know what your world is made up of but there is always something to write about.
I find writing about my experience, feelings, and thoughts much better. Music and nature help a lot with creativity. But my gold mine of creativity is my thoughts and emotions.
Don't try to write like Shakespear or Robert Greene, you will only discourage yourself in the process if your writing does not measure up. Your voice is key.
Your voice can be many things.
Remember that it is a process, it will take a lot of your patience. Don't despair. Pay the price and you will thank yourself later.
I will dedicate my time to answer all your questions, to help you if you need to move to the next step. Just reach out.
