Who do you look to when troubles creep in?
Times like this force us to confront our reality, our source of strength, and trust.
Truth is that we don't know when things are going to get better. And things might get worse.
People you know may die. Jobs will be lost as businesses close. Your years of hard work and investments have disappeared overnight.
Who will you look to? God? Government? Your parents? Partner or spouse?
The government is promising relief, politicians left and right are trying to take advantage of this situation. Promising to bail us out.
We feel somewhat safe and think that we got this and things will be better.
BE CAREFUL
If you are wise you will know not to count on any of the promises that are flying around.
Not because I am trying to tell you that you are self-reliant but because I want you to open your eyes and be real.
The universe has powerful forces that no government and its riches can counteract. The universe gives when it wants and takes when it wants.
There is no prayer or safe house you can run to, to prevent you from feeling pain and loss. Loss and pain are part of the menu for life.
Don't look anywhere but to yourself for help. You are your source of help. Come to terms with what is happening and take courage.
With each passing day, you can focus on what you can do, the good that you have. The good that you can do now is all that is needed to get through this.
